Our students are lucky enough to benefit from a hard working Parents and Citizens' (P&C) association. Without parental support, the school and children go without the necessities the department is unable to supply.
Meetings are generally held once a month on a Tuesday afternoon commencing at 3:30pm in the classroom.

Tuckshop at McIlwraith State School is a weekly event, occurring each Friday and is run by the McIlwraith State School P&C. Students are required to place their tuckshop order in the tuckshop box, located in the classroom each Wednesday.
The staff and students would like to thank the parents and grandparents who kindly donate their time to provide assistance in our school tuckshop.
Weekly Meal Deal order forms are sent home with students every Monday. A brief menu and pricelist is issued at the commencement of every term.
